Whether you are working through a particular challenge, or looking to deepen your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you, psychotherapy can help you start to feel your own autonomy, confidence and satisfaction.

Other modalities of therapy can promise “quick fixes,” yet I believe true healing comes with time, trust and commitment. I deeply value the therapist and patient relationship, and know that you are the true expert in your life.  Through our connection and joint inquiry, we can feel our way into emotions that were possibly previously too frightening.

What may feel broken doesn’t always require a fix, but the courage and support to remain open to all sorts of feelings. We are often conditioned to believe that some emotional experiences are “bad” which can evoke more shame and isolation than we may already feel. Part of the work of psychotherapy is recognizing that emotional states are neither black nor white, and building the internal trust that we can withstand and work through all types of pain and discomfort. Holding emotional dualities can widen narrow mental pathways, and lead to more of a sense of freedom.
